Jersey Post & Go features Naval Vessels at Spring Stampex
A new Post & Go design, Visiting Naval Vessels, will be launched by Jersey Post on 14 February 2018 at Spring Stampex in London. The stamps will be available to vend from Jersey Post’s JE01 kiosk, alongside Jersey Crest stamps printed with a special exhibition overprint.
“The six stamps feature some of the Royal Naval Vessels that have taken part in the Jersey Boat Show, an annual event first staged in 2008,” explains Melanie Gouzinis, Head of Philatelic at Jersey Post, “and they have been beautifully illustrated by Andrew Robinson. As well as being available from Jersey Post’s JE01 Post & Go kiosk during the exhibition, they will also be available from the JE02 kiosk at Jersey’s main Broad Street post office in St Helier. Our 2015 issue Protected Species will also vend once again from JE02 from 14 February, for a limited time.”
Jersey Crest stamps featuring a special exhibition overprint will also vend from the JE01 kiosk during the exhibition. The overprint reads Be My Valentine, accompanied by two love hearts as the issue day coincides with Valentine’s Day. For those unable to attend Stampex, back office collectors’ strips will also be available from Jersey’s B002 kiosk via the Jersey Philatelic Bureau.
This year, Spring Stampex will take place from 14-17 February at the Business Design Centre in London. Visiting Naval Vessels Post & Go stamps, B002 overprints and philatelic stamp products such as First Day Covers and Presentation Packs are available to pre-order at www.jerseystamps.com or by contacting the Jersey Philatelic Bureau on: 00 44 (0)1534 616320. New issue Post & Go stamps and overprints from Jersey Post’s B002 kiosk are now available as subscription items through the Jersey Philatelic Bureau. (Ends)
